1. Surfing conditions of sale

1.1 Rates

The courses and surf courses are sold at the price indicated on the site, the brochure and the leaflet SURFTRIP SURFSCHOOL. In this case, the applicable rates will be those defined between the management and the customer at the date of the reservation.

Customers wishing to subscribe must:

1.3 Terms of Settlement

When registering for a surfing course and / or a surf course at SURFTRIP SURFSCHOOL surf school, the buyer must:

1.4 Cancellation & amp; Refund

– Cancellation by SURFTRIP SURFSCHOOL:
In case of bad weather ( thunderstorm, lack of waves, sea too strong, pollution ), surfing or bodyboarding lessons can not be provided by surf instructors of SURFTRIP SURFSCHOOL. In this case, we suggest that customers postpone the course as far as possible or will be offered – subject to weather conditions and opportunities and material and human availability – alternative activities (stand up paddle, rowing and first aid workshops on Lake Hossegor). In the case where no solution is found, a refund may be considered.
– Cancellation by trainees:
We reimburse the courses only if they are canceled 48h in advance OR on presentation of a medical certificate stipulating the contraindication to the practice of surfing by the trainee concerned.

2. Surf rental conditions

The rented ski equipment is under the full responsibility of the customer as soon as it takes possession of it. In addition, he acknowledges having read the rental conditions of this material and agrees to respect them:
The customer will ensure the conservation. The taking possession of rented equipment is the responsibility of the person making the lease.
The rented equipment is intended for the sole use of the client, without any possibility of subletting, or loan even free of charge. The customer is the only judge of his ability to use the rented equipment.
He certifies that he is able to use the rented equipment and undertakes to use it with caution, without danger to third parties in accordance with the regulations in force.
The tenant must provide a security deposit throughout the rental period (a photocopy can be given to the tenant if necessary): identity card , valid passport or driver’s license for any rented equipment, whatever it may be.

2.1 Compliance with the regulations

The tenant agrees to respect the regulation of the beaches and in particular the prohibition of practice of the surf or bodyboard with palms, between the blue flags (zone of bath).

2.2 Responsibility & amp; Reservation

The tenant is reminded that surfing is a risky sport , which requires to know how to swim and which directly depends on the conditions of the ocean environment, specific natural environment. The tenant acknowledges renting the equipment at his own risk.
The tenant is only responsible in the event of bodily injury or material damage that it causes at the time of the use of the rented material which it has custody. (articles 1383 and 1384 of the Civil Code)
Any outgoing material will be subject to a state inspection before the tenant completes the lease – mentioning the date and time of departure and the type of equipment rented – and to have signed the terms and conditions of SURFSRIP SURFSCHOOL surf school.
All reported material should be inspected by the facility staff .

2.3 Hardware status

All equipment offered for rent is acknowledged to be in good condition and must be returned as such. Any damage, whatever its cause, will result, in addition to the cost of renting payment of replacement or reclamation up to the maximum value of the equipment as new.
Upon return the equipment must be in perfect condition: rinsed combination, plank, attached leash.
Any dents, cracks, holes and any damage whatsoever must be indicated by the tenant to the surf school staff as soon as he or she sees it.

2.4 Cancellation, Refund and Pricing

Cancellation after taking equipment: in case of illness or accident occurring during the rental period, the conditions of the reservation remain applicable. Only the equipment rented by the person concerned can be returned and will be invoiced in proportion to the number of days actually rented , under presentation of a medical certificate.
Any overtime will be billed as a full period (2h, half day, day …)

3. Payment method

Lessons and equipment rental can be paid in cash, checks or holiday vouchers on site or by post to the following address: SURFTRIP SURFSCHOOL – 119 boulevard de la dune – BP28 – 40150 HOSSEGOR.
SURFTRIP SURFSCHOOL does not accept credit card.

4. Responsibilities

4.1 Responsibilities of the buyer

– Anyone participating in a surfing course is supported and under the responsibility of Surftrip to call his name until the end of the course. The parents or legal guardians of the minors must make sure of the progress of the service. Surftrip is not responsible for students outside class.
– Course participants are required to follow the safety instructions otherwise they will be excluded from the session.

4.2 Responsibilities of SURFTRIP

– SURFTRIP SURFSCHOOL can not be held responsible for any moral or bodily injury caused by third parties to course participants.
– SURFTRIP ensures in accordance with the law not cover in civil responsibility. If the customer wants additional guarantees, it is his responsibility to subscribe them personally.
– SURFTRIP can not be held responsible for robberies in the locker room, valuables can be deposited at the reception.

5. Right to the image
